How to submit a sitemap for your blog

Every blogger who uses blogger/blogspot should do an important thing that is to submit their blog's sitemap to Google webmaster tools so that their blog posts will get indexed by Google and shows up in search results.To help Google to index all your web pages in your blog, you should add sitemaps for your blogger blogs.

Once you log on to your webmaster account you can see only 26 indexed pages of your blog. What if you have more than 26 posts on your blog?.I am sharing simple tutorial for "How to Submit All Blog Posts As Sitemap to Google Webmaster Tools".Just follow given below steps.

How to Make a Sitemap For Blogger Blogs Using Google Webmaster Tools

Verify Your Blog: From Your Google Account Go to

  • Webmaster Tools >> Add Site, Enter Your URL in the "Add Site field". Then, you can verify it by choosing "Verify" button at the top. Choose "Meta Tag" option and add that meta tag to your blog template after the "Head" tag.
  • Add A Sitemap: Website -> Sitemaps -> Add/Test Sitemap

  • Just Add The Following Code In The Box Provided to Add The Sitemap. It Submits The Latest 200 Posts Of Your Blog.
atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=1&max-results=200
  • For Blog With More Than 200 Posts You Have to Add Another Sitemap. The Following Code Submits Posts From 200-400 Posts
atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=201&max-results=400
  • You Have Increase The Start-Index and Max-Results Values Depending Upon The Number Of Posts In Your Blog
atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=1&max-results=200

atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=201&max-results=400

atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=401&max-results=600

And so on

  • You Should Wait For Some Hours Before Google Accept The Sitemaps
